President's Greeting

Greetings, fellow and future graduates. I am honored to represent the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute Associates Inc. as this year’s President.  The goal of the Association is to continue to build upon the excellent education programs offered by the Executive Institute.

It is our duty and responsibility to prepare our future leaders through professional and quality training.

With the economic down turn, which has resulted in budget reductions, we all are feeling the pressure, particularly in the areas of training. However, we all realize the value of quality leadership training and it’s importance to the continued professionalization of our law enforcement practitioners.

I encourage you, as key decision makers and advisors within your respected agencies, to support our goals.  We should not allow these programs to become victims of the budget knife.

It is my responsibility as president in cooperation with the other board member to provide you with a conference in 2010 that will be worthy of your attendance.

I welcome any ideas and suggestions you may have to improve and enhance our association’s goals and mission.
