Dear Program Alumni and Criminal Justice Practitioners,
It is my esteemed honor to serve as the President of
FCJEIA for this year. In keeping with the goals of FCJEIA, it is the Board of
Directors’ intent to continue the development of our Criminal Justice Leaders
throughout the state. Obviously, that goal is best accomplished via our Annual
Graduates Conference where a long-standing tradition of timely, relevant and
excellent training opportunities has been manifested.
The 2010 conference was a great success and received “rave
reviews” from you, the membership. Once again, I thank all those who were able
to attend and those whose “behind the scenes” work made the conference a
reality. I certainly hope that the 2011 Conference will exceed your expectations
and I can promise you that every effort will be made to see that it does.
In the interim, please continue your support of the
Institute by sending your prospective and current agency leaders to the
excellent programs offered throughout the State and in Tallahassee. By doing
so, not only will the membership of FCJEIA continue to grow, but more
importantly, the Criminal Justice Field in our Great State will be better able
to meet the numerous challenges we face now and in the future through competent
leadership.
Have a safe and wonderful year and I hope to see as many of
you as possible in the spring of 2011!
Sincerely,
Mark R. Chamberlain
